One of my favorite questions Grace Bonney from Design*Sponge asks makers and businesses in interviews is "What has been the biggest sacrifice you’ve made in starting your business?". For me, the day to day things don't feel like a sacrifice, it's just part of the lifestyle of being a small business. But, travel is the one sacrifice that feels real. Seeing new places and learning about different cultures thrills me. It's one of the most important things to me. It's also a gift to be able to travel; I'm healthy, I live close to a major airport, airBnB has made it affordable, the internet makes it easy to research, so it's really my duty to travel. It's been almost 3 years since I took a major trip, mainly because of the business. So we've finally booked airfare! We're headed to Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Paris in October. I cannot wait. I've been spending about 20 minutes every morning doing research and here are some photos that I've found on travel blogs and websites. Please comment with your suggestions!
Here we go again!! We're at the front end of preparations for the National Stationery Show this year. We're planning on releasing 14 new greeting cards with a focus on Birthday. We're also planning on some desktop goodies this year. More to come on that. But I wanted to share with you guys some inspiration for the collection this year. Along with our booth inspiration.
